09:40am pick up from accommodation in Lima and departure to start our gastronomic tour. Markets are always a fairly accurate reflection of cities. In this opportunity we will visit the popular market of Surquillo, the favorite by famous chefs. In what used to be an old shoe factory, when you enter you will see that there are wooden molds on the bar that were found in the space where today Kañete is located. A totally new and different proposal. In this thematic restaurant by the hand of the chef we will learn to cook our lunch, in addition we can taste Pisco Sour or Chilcano. You will live a unique experience learning from the best of the Peruvian cuisine. After lunch we will continue our visit to start our Lima city tour, we will start with Visit to “Pucllana Pyramid” then Historical Center of Lima with more than fifty monuments and Colonial edifications, such as the Paseo de la República, the San Martín Square, the Main Square, the Government Palace, the Archbishop’s Palace, the Cathedral Basilica, and the City Council Palace amongst others, San Francisco Convent. Return to accommodation around 6pm.

At appropriate time, transfer from hotel in Lima to the airport, to take our flight from Lima to the white city of Arequipa. The flight will take approx. 1 hour. (flight included on the package)

Once we arrive in Arequipa, we will be pick up and transfer to the hotel. After check-in at the hotel, we will have free morning for shopping or resting.

Afternoon:. Arequipa City tour

In the afternoon, around 13:30h we will start our Arequipa city tour, we will Visit the Monastery of Santa Catalina, then we will visit the Plaza de Armas, one of the most beautiful in Peru, the Jesuit Church of the Company, which in its beautiful façade announces the so-called mestizo architecture, its cloisters and dome, the Tristan del Pozo house and at the end and for a magnificent view from the city we will visit the typical districts of Carmen alto and Yanahuara. (Mirador and Church). We will be back in Arequipa around 6pm.

in Cusco

We leave Arequipa between 2:30-3:00am, will drive for 3 hours northwest behind the Chachani to Chivay, capital of the Colca Canyon. Where we will have breakfast. We continue driving for 2 hours at the most famous spot in the Colca Canyon “La Cruz del Condor”. This is where we see the depth of the canyon and the flight of the Condor. The area has beautiful typical villages like Yanque and Maca, colonial churches, friendly people with dresses and hats with typical sewing, and hundreds of pre-Inca terraces that are still in use with Andean crops such as corn, quinoa and amaranth. Already in Chivay at noon there is an optional visit to the hot springs of La Calera, with pools that have a water temperature of 40 ° C / 104 ° F. Once in Chivay we will have a traditional lunch and after lunch we will travel to back to Arequipa. We stop on the way, on the highest step: the viewpoint of the volcanoes and snow-capped mountains in Patapampa (4,800m). Later we will see wild vicunas, alpacas and llamas in the national reserve of Pampa Cañahuas and some birds like flamingos, ibis, Andean geese, ducks and eagle’s Andean Quechua called “Kara Kara”. Finally, we arrive at the city of Arequipa at the end of the afternoon, at approximately 17:00.

Arequipa – Cusco

In the afternoon, transfer to the bus station for our night bus from Arequipa to Cusco. The drive takes around 10 hours and you will have service on board.

Upon arrival in Cusco, reception at the bus station and transfer to our hotel in the city center.

Afternoon:. Cusco City tour

In the afternoon around 1:10 pm pick up from your hotel to Cusco City Tour. The tour will begin visiting the Temple of the Sun or Qorikancha, Sacsayhuaman, Kenko, Puca Pucara and Tambomachay. And return around 7:00 pm

After a delicious breakfast we will pick at your hotel around 8:30 am for the wonderful Tour Sacred Valley of the Incas and visit the archaeological park Pisac and its traditional market, enjoy a delicious buffet lunch in Urubamba, then visit the wonderful city of Ollantaytambo, where there should walk through the cobblestone streets that keep alive the Inca culture that make us go back in time.

In the afternoon, we will take our train from the station in Ollantaytambo to Aguas Calientes, the ride will take approx. 1.40h

The evening will be free to relax and dine in the restaurant of your choice.

After breakfast, we will meet our guide and take the bus up to Machu Picchu where you will have a 2hours tour with your expert guide. Afterwards you will have time to enjoy Machu Picchu at your own pace. When you are finished in Machu Picchu we will take our bus down to Aguas Calientes.

In the afternoon we will take our train back to the train station in Ollantaytambo, where our driver will be waiting to take us back to Cusco.
