Itinerary:

The Ica valley is famous worldwide for agricultural production. One of the most important regional products is Pisco, local firewater made out of grapes. These pisco distilleries also make wine (usually sweet for the local palate). The wineries are a great place to visit because they are located in the middle of the countryside, where you can experience a different feeling than in the city and the desert. Here there is a lot of greenery, everything takes on a slower pace, and you can experience the Peruvian provincial culture in the raw.

Pick up from the hotel in Ica, and we will begin the visit to the Bodega el Catador, where we will learn the process of making artisan pisco (pisco made by hand), while we taste and enjoy its various varieties, we will know its historical review.

As a second point we will go to La Bodega Vista Alegre, it is an industrial winery that has the capacity to produce 5 million liters of Pisco per year. It has a production of pisco and semi-dry, dry, red wine, etc., unlike an artisan winery that produces only sweet wines. Where you can see how all your products are made.

And finally we will visit the Tacama winery, like the two previous wineries, you will be able to climb its bell towers dating from colonial times, from there you will be able to appreciate all its vineyard, and then you will go to the production area, to appreciate the development of the production of their piscos and wines. At the end of the tour we return to the hotel in Ica.
