Pick up from accommodation in Lima from 09:00/09:30am It shows the largest jewellery collection used by various rulers of pre-Columbian Peru.
It comprises a collection of crowns, ear muffs, nose rings, jewellery, masks and glasses, finely crafted in gold and decorated with semi-precious stones. The ancient cultures of Peru represented their daily life in ceramics, this museum having an important collection of erotic huacos. It shows 10,000 years of history of pre-Columbian Peru. This chronologically ordered gallery offers visitors a comprehensive vision of the cultures that existed in pre-Columbian Peru through the artefacts that survived the conquest of Peru in the 16th century. The gallery is divided into four areas: North Coast, Central Coast, South Coast and Andes.
